Does the person I call need TringPhone?
No. Your call rings on their regular mobile or landline. They do not need TringPhone, an internet connection, or a smartphone. You need an internet connection and a browser with microphone access.
How do I pay for calls?
Create an account and add calling credit, starting at $5 for personal accounts. Calls are deducted from your balance at the destination rate. Calling is pay as you go; optional virtual phone numbers have a separate recurring charge.
How are calls charged?
Rates depend on the destination and whether you are calling a mobile or landline. Calls are billed in whole minutes, with partial minutes rounded up. Check the rate in the dialer before placing your call.
Can I use TringPhone on my phone or laptop?
Use Google Chrome with microphone access and a stable internet connection. The current dialer blocks Safari and Firefox. Check browser compatibility before adding credit, particularly on a phone.
Can someone call me back?
You can add an optional virtual number in a supported country to receive calls in TringPhone. Number availability, requirements, and recurring prices are shown when you choose a number.
What if I have trouble making a call?
Check your internet connection, microphone permission, calling credit, and the destination number, including its country code. If you still need help, contact support@tringphone.com with the date and time of your call.
